About Us ℹī¸

At ForHealth, our core purpose is to transform the physical rehabilitation and fitness sector by developing compact and intelligent robotic assistive technologies. We serve and have partnered with hospitals, orthopedic centers, rehab clinics, fitness centers to achieve better clinical outcomes by taking over their repetitive tasks and exercises for recovery and daily life.

Disabilities due to neurological and musculoskeletal disorders, have received very little attention to date. India has 1.8Mn strokes each year with 50 percent survivors facing chronic disability. In the US alone, every 40 seconds someone has a stroke. Moreover, more than a billion people in the world suffer from musculoskeletal disabilities. Recovery of these is mainly dependent on intensity and frequency of physiotherapy. Demand for physiotherapy is increasing, resulting in reduced caregiving time per patient and a lack of trained physiotherapists. In fact, regular physiotherapy achieves only 30 exercise repetitions per session against recommended 400+.

Our first product, an Intelligent Lower-Limb Robotic device takes over a physiotherapist's repetitive exercises.  It assists the patients in a variety of passive range of motion exercises and when required, naturally resists the patients in order for them to perform active strengthening exercises.
