Features

Create New

You can create as many floor plans as you like. When creating, you assign a name, number of floors, whether or not you have a basement, ceiling height, and address. The number of floors cannot be changed later.

I have a split level home - how many floors should I choose?

For split-levels, it is recommended to have one floor in beestat per actual elevation in the home.

Pan/Zoom

You can pan the floor plan canvas around by dragging anywhere as long as it’s not on an active room. Zooming can be done using the toolbar, or by holding Ctrl and scrolling the mouse wheel up or down.

Adding, Removing, and Positioning Rooms

Rooms can be added and removed using the toolbar, or by using the hotkeys R and Delete. When a room is active it can be dragged into position. Alternatively, the arrow keys can also move a room 1” at a time in any direction.

Resizing Rooms

Rooms can be quickly resized by dragging wall segments*. For finer control, click a wall to select it, then use the keyboard arrows to move 1” at a time.

** Diagonal walls cannot be resized this way.*
