✈️ Flight Guide for Costa Rica Friendsmoon

We’ve put together this guide to help you book your flights from Montreal (YUL) to Costa Rica for our Friendsmoon in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica! 🌴✨ Given that flights for July are limited, we highly recommend booking ASAP before prices go up.

There are two main international airport options:

1️⃣ San Jose (SJO) – More flight options, requires a short 30-min local flight to Cobano (ACO).

2️⃣ Liberia (LIR) – Fewer flights but offers direct options at cheaper cost. Also requires a 30-min local flight to Cobano (ACO)

Local flights to Cobano (ACO) need to be booked separately with Sansa Airlines or Green Airways (little fyi - it is a very cute small 10ish seater plane that you will take) ****

Once you land in Cobano, we’ll arrange a taxi pickup to bring you to Santa Teresa! 🚖

✔️ Air Transat – Offers direct flights from Montreal to Liberia. However, dates are very limited, and flights are early.

• ✈️ Direct round-trip flight with Air Canada from Montreal (YUL) → San Jose (SJO) on July 16 (5 hours & 45 minutes) - most expensive

✔️ If you’re open to an overnight layover in Miami, you can book one-way flights for a more relaxed itinerary at a cheaper price.
