1. Who is covered by Flecto Protect

• Coverage applies to the user who rents the product specified in the rental registration to an end customer.

2. Coverage Start and End

• Coverage is valid for the period the product is rented, as per the rental contract, provided the premium has been paid.
• Coverage is valid for a maximum period of 90 days.

3. Coverage Area

• Coverage applies to damage and theft occurring in Portugal and Spain.

4. What the Coverage Includes

• Covers damage or theft of the covered product caused by a sudden and unforeseen external event. Suddenness means that the event causing the damage occurred relatively quickly. Consequently, damage that develops gradually is not covered.

5. What is not covered by the coverage

1. Excluded damages and costs
   • Changes due to weather, colour or shape alteration, friction, mold, coating, or lack of maintenance.
   • Damage caused by pets, insects, or rodents.
   • Damage due to manufacturing defects, poor quality of materials or workmanship.
   • Damage caused by repair or cleaning performed by professional services.
   • Cosmetic damage, such as wear and tear, scratches, or dents that do not affect the product's functionality.
   • Damage caused by fire or natural disasters, such as floods or hurricanes.
   • Damage to items classified as consumables (e.g., out-of-warranty batteries, light bulbs).
   • Loss of content or data (e.g., images, software, downloads, applications, music).
   • Indirect damages.
   • Damage that occurred before coverage began.
2. Excluded items
   • Caravans and motorhomes.
   • Motor boats and sailboats.
   • Jet skis.
   • Medium and heavy trucks (weight over 3500 kg).
   • Aircraft and drones.
   • Weapons or weapon parts.
   • Jewellery, genuine pearls, precious stones, and watches.
   • Live animals.
   • Tobacco and alcohol.
   • Money or securities.
   • Antiques.

6. Coverage Amount

• Coverage compensates up to a maximum amount of €2,000 per rented product and claim.
• The total limit per claim is €15,000 if more than one rented product is covered in the same claim.

7. Deductible

• There is no deductible.

8. Safety Regulations

The customer must ensure compliance with the following regulations:

• Comply with the provisions of the group member terms of use and the rental agreement.
