Iggy is the first developer toolkit that simplifies access to complex location data. Founded by an Ex-Airbnb data scientist (Lindsay) and cartographer (Zack), we empower companies to build innovative products, models and apps that leverage location data and context.

We’re a seed-stage startup backed by some amazing institutional investors including First Round Capital and Amplify, an incredible micro VC Brianne Kimmel/WLV, the Airbnb Alumni Investment Syndicate AirAngels, as well as founders from Plaid, Looker, and Instacart, and other high value-add investors.

About the Role

We’re hiring our first marketer to help tell the story of Iggy to the world. You should have a strong background in product marketing, particularly marketing to a developer audience, but you will also touch all aspects of marketing as we build the function. You will be responsible for creating a marketing strategy and plan, getting feedback from the rest of the team, and executing that plan.

In this role you will help us figure out how best to bring our product to market - owning the messaging & positioning, content strategy, and growth channels. We don’t have everything figured out so we’re looking for someone who is experimental and comfortable with ambiguity. You will be expected to bring your marketing expertise and knowledge to inform our broader business strategy and be passionate about our audience - developers. You should be comfortable and confident sharing your perspective, marketing goals, and results with the broader company as a core team member.
