Books
Here are the best books for Figure Drawing that I used and recommend (you can click on the images to check the books out):

Michael Hampton - Design and Invention
This is the best overall book on Figure Drawing. Hampton goes over all the steps (gesture, form, and anatomy) in a very well organised and well explained manner. All the key concepts are included as well as examples and demonstrations. There's also a section on portrait drawing, so this book has everything you need to draw the complete figure.

Michael Mattesi - FORCE Dynamic Life Drawing
Great for Gesture and if you want more dynamism or flow in your drawings. It's a personal favourite of mine.

Steve Huston - Figure Drawing For Artists
Lots of exercises, master studies, and examples. Very helpful for anatomy and breaking the body parts into forms.

Andrew Loomis - Figure Drawing For All It's Worth
A bit technical and the explanations aren't the best, but it was still helpful for proportion and basic anatomy.
