feelings is a cycle tracker that keeps everything on your phone. Your cycle dates, symptoms, moods, notes, and any other entries are stored only on your device, in an encrypted database. We don't have servers that hold your data, we never receive it, and we don't track you. There are no accounts and no ads. The app doesn't connect to the internet to use it — the only network activity is your app store handling a purchase or app update.
Who we are
feelings is made by Siempi ("we", "us"). If you have any questions about this policy or your privacy, contact us at info@siempi.ch.
What information feelings stores
Everything you choose to record in the app, which may include:
- Period and cycle dates, and predictions derived from them
- Symptoms, moods, energy, and body-map pain locations
- Personal notes and check-ins
- Lab results you enter (e.g. values, units, dates)
- Your display name and app preferences (such as theme)
- An optional app-lock setting
We call this "your entries." Your entries never leave your device unless you explicitly export or share them (see Backups and Doctor document below).
Where your information lives
- Your entries are stored in a local, encrypted database on your device (using SQLCipher). The encryption key is held in your device's secure storage (Keychain on iOS, Keystore on Android).
- We operate no servers that store your entries. We have no copy of your data and no way to access it.
- Because your data is local, deleting the app — or using "Delete everything" in Settings — permanently removes it from your device. We can't recover it for you, because we never had it.
What we don't do
- We don't collect, transmit, sell, or share your entries.
- We don't use analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, or third-party data-collection SDKs.
