Response to A Letter to Dance, by Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker:

I think looking at movement in the context of choreography provides an interesting perspective towards people’s movements as a group. When looking for patterns in everyday life, one place to look at is groups of people. When people move through certain spaces there is a agreed consensus on how everyone should navigate the space. This leads to an observable visual temporal rhythm within people’s movements. In fun part is finding different ways to represent movement through spatial and temporal manipulation.
