I love clothes, fashion design, shopping, high end brands and literally everything that you can wear. I graduated high school as a fashion designer and here are some of my favourite timeless pieces I think you should have in your wardrobe.
For jeans I will always go back to 2 brands; Levi’s and Lee.
Both these brands are known for their high quality denim wear and for a reason. I was lucky enough to find a pair of vintage low waist flared Levi’s jeans at a thrift store once and they are one of my favourite pair of jeans to wear.
While both brands are a bit on the pricy side, you can look in second hand shops or score a pair during the sale. I got a pair of Lee skinny jeans for 50% off during this year’s summer sale.
A good quality denim pants is so important for a classic and timeless wardrobe. Zara also has good quality jeans for a more affortable price to get a pair in each color. My range in jeans goes from white to light blue to dark blue to grey to black to have an option for each outfit and style.
A good basic tee is SO important as a base for so many outfits. I prefer short sleeves over long sleeves, but I do own a bunch of both.
The basics from COS and Uniqlo are my favorites. They have different colours like white, black, off white and stripes. These shirts are thick and the perfect lenght to either tuck them in your pants or let them hang over the hem.
The COS ones are a bit more expensive at around $34, but they are definitely worth the price. Remember to not dry them since that can shrink them a bit.
H&M has good basics too, both their short sleeves as long sleeves are of decent quality and will last you a while too.
I suggest you get 4 pairs of short sleeves; white, black, stripes and a fun colour and 3 long sleeves; white, beige and grey.
If you want to have a good base for the colder days, add a long sleeve turtle neck tee to your collection.
For the colder months you obviously need a jacket. My favorites are;
A timeless jacket that goes with almost every outfit. The trick is to find the right shade for your skintone.
