• hydroponic farms use up to 90% less water than traditional farms because there’s no need to irrigate, and the same water is circulated and used throughout the entire farm and contained
  • flood & drain system- floods up water and drains, does it on a timer about 5x a day for young plants
    • this allows plants to have water but they also need access to oxygen but you don’t want it to drown in water
