Faraz Abulhawa, CEng MIMechE, is a seasoned mechanical engineer known for his extensive involvement in the motorcycle industry, particularly as a Design Team Leader at Royal Enfield. Within the Radix ecosystem, Faraz is the founder of Radstakes, contributor to DeXter, Radix community ambassador, and business development partner for XRD Domains.

Engineering Career

Faraz’s engineering journey began at the University of Warwick where he obtained a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, graduating in 2007. Following his graduation, Faraz quickly transitioned into the professional realm, beginning his career as a Design Engineer at Woodhouse in Royal Leamington Spa.

Woodhouse (2008 - 2011)

At Woodhouse, Faraz honed his skills in mechanical design and project management, paving his way towards more senior roles in the industry.

Triumph Motorcycles Limited (2011 - 2017)

Transitioning to Triumph Motorcycles, Faraz continued to ascend professionally. Here, he deepened his expertise in motorcycle design and engineering, contributing significantly to various projects.

Royal Enfield (2017 - Present)

Upon joining Royal Enfield, Faraz quickly made a notable impact, initially as a Lead Engineer before being promoted to Design Team Leader. Currently based in Leicestershire, his contributions span from conceptualizing designs to leading them through to production. His adeptness in producing 3D models and 2D engineering drawings in compliance with ASME and BS8888 standards using tools like PTC Creo and Solidworks has been instrumental. Moreover, Faraz's proficiency in Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DFMA), Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), Finite Element Analysis, and validation testing has played a pivotal role in his and his team’s accomplishments.
