The group's founder and facilitator is Jessica Smith, an experienced UX content designer and strategist. A longtime content strategist and 6-year UX specialist, she leads the content design community of practice at PayPal currently.
She’s a certified OOUX Strategist and also specializes in inclusive and accessible content design. She has a special interest in trauma-informed design.
She's worked in tech for a number of years, in and across different industries, including EdTech, app development agency work, health care, educational design, and more. A big focus for her the last 6 years has been financial services.
