FOREEE Privacy Policy

FOREEE is a golf shot tracer app developed by Ziyu Cui and distributed through the Apple App Store. We care about your privacy, and this policy explains how we handle the information involved in using the app.

We've put the things we think you most want to know first — your choices, how to delete your account, and what we do (and don't do) with your data. The technical and legal details follow.

In this policy, "FOREEE," "we," "us," and "our" refer to Ziyu Cui operating FOREEE. "Services" means the FOREEE mobile application, our websites, and related software and features. By using the Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

1. Your Choices

Depending on the features available, you may be able to:

Delete your account directly in the app;
Toggle the "Help Improve FOREEE" setting to control whether your content is used for ML training (default ON outside the EU/UK; default OFF in the EU/UK — see Section 4);
Manage app permissions through iOS settings;
Limit access to Photos, Camera, or other device permissions;
Manage subscriptions through Apple;
Contact us to request access, deletion, or correction of certain information.

Some features may not work if required permissions or data access are disabled.

Device Permissions

FOREEE may request the following iOS permissions, depending on the features you use:

Photo Library (read & write)	To import existing golf videos for tracer analysis, and to save edited videos back to your photo library	Required to import or export videos
Notifications	To alert you when long video processing or exports are complete, and to send occasional product updates	Optional
Camera (future Live Trace feature)	To record golf swing videos directly in the app for real-time tracer analysis. Used together with Apple's ARKit framework.	Required for Live Trace recording
Microphone (future Live Trace feature)	Captured as part of in-app video recording. Audio becomes part of the video file.	Optional; you can disable this in iOS Settings
Location – While Using the App (future Live Trace feature)	To optionally tag recorded videos with the location where the shot was taken	Optional and off by default
Motion & Fitness (future Live Trace feature)	Used by Apple's ARKit framework on your device to detect device movement and orientation, which improves shot tracking and tracer stability. Motion data is processed on-device.	Required for Live Trace; data stays on your device

You can review and change these permissions at any time in iOS Settings → FOREEE. Disabling a required permission may prevent the related feature from working, but will not affect other features.

We will only request a permission when you first try to use a feature that needs it. We do not request permissions in the background.

2. Account Deletion

You can delete your FOREEE account at any time directly in the app under Settings → Account → Delete Account.
