How to tell your story and nail it

YOU'RE ON A ROLL!! So you've got a great idea, you've tested it out, and you have also considered how your idea is generating impact! Now it is time to tell the world, apply to that accelerator and get the 🤑money🤑 you need to keep growing! That's where you will need to perfect your pitch and tell your story!

Whether you are applying to an accelerator, fundraising for investment, or simply communicating with your network, you will need a pitch deck presentation. However, just like how a job applicant cannot use the same resume for all jobs, an entrepreneur has to tweak their pitch deck according to their audience. In prepping your pitch, consider who is the audience & what do they want to know. Then plan how you tell your story both visually and orally to convince them of the desired outcome. You may want different versions eg. more graphics & fewer words if you will be presenting verbally and more words for when it needs to be a standalone deck. Finally, Practice, Practice, Practice your pitch until it's perfect. Don't forget to carry your passion into your pitch story.

(We will use "Pitch" to refer to the spoken presentation and "Pitch deck" for the slides.)
