Welcome to MomentRanks Play

A daily fantasy sports game to compete with your NBA Top Shot Moments.

Read this FAQ in Spanish.

What can I do with my Moments?

You can compete in Head-to-Head games with other Top Shot users and friends.

You can set a lineup for our Daily Contest, with the top three daily lineups winning prizes.

How does a MomentRanks Head to Head game work?

Collectors choose five Moments that they own for their lineup. Your Top Shot account must be verified before you select Moments you own for your lineup.

When the NBA players from each Moment play their next game, each Moment will be given a MomentRanks Score in real-time according to the stats they accrue. MR score is the combination of scoring from points, assists, steals, and blocks, as well a Moment Boost based on the Moment's play category, rarity, and the player's performance over their 10-game average.

A team's score is the total of the five Moment scores. The team with the highest score wins the game.

How does the Daily Contest work?

Similar to the Head-to-Head game, you pick a lineup of five Moments of NBA players that play in games today.

All user lineups are entered into a pool. The three lineups that score the most points win Top Shot prizes.

You have up until lock time (the start time of the first NBA game of the day) to create and change your lineups. One lineup per user per day can be entered into the contest.

How is MR Score calculated on Play?

MR Score = Base Score + Moment Boost

Each Moment in a lineup has a base score — similar to a fantasy score — which is tied directly to that player's performance in the game. For every point, assist, steal, and block in-game, a Moment will score the following:
