📅 When does the hackathon take place?

September 23 – October 16, 2025. Judging takes place October 19, and winners will be announced October 20.

📥 How do submissions work?

All projects must be submitted on DevSpot by October 16, 2025 at 6:00 PM ET.

A valid submission must include:

  1. A recorded demo (max 4 minutes)
  2. A GitHub repo with a project.json metadata file
  3. A short description of how your project addresses a bounty or track
  4. A slide deck or written overview outlining the problem, solution, and potential impact

💻 Do I need to use specific tech?

It depends on the bounty. Some bounties are open-ended and let you use any stack. Others may require or encourage sponsor technologies, APIs, or tools. Always check the details of the bounty you’re submitting to.

Across all tracks, projects that are open, modular, and interoperable are especially encouraged.
