EU Member States are working towards the development of a Toolbox including a technical Architecture and Reference Framework (ARF), a set of common standards and technical specifications that will determine the European Digital Identity framework in the future.
There are recent and active calls for cryptographer’s feedback on use of ZKPs in the framework, in particular as an alternative to the currently proposed by Orange, BBS+/BBS# and the selection of SD-JWT as a Verifiable Credential (VC) format.
