⚡ Overview

LightReach guarantees that your customer’s solar system will produce the energy (kWh) it was designed for over the life of the agreement.

If the system ever underperforms compared to that guarantee, the homeowner gets energy-credit compensation.

This gives homeowners confidence that their system will perform — and that LightReach stands behind its output.

🧮 How It Works

1. 3-Year Performance Check

Every 36 months (3 years) from the first monthly payment date, LightReach compares:

Actual kWh Produced vs Guaranteed kWh

If the actual production is less than guaranteed, LightReach credits the homeowner for the difference.

2. How the Guarantee Is Calculated

Each project has a table (internal only) showing:

• Total Estimated kWh Output to Date for each milestone year (3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21, 24, 25)
• Energy Price per kWh – the credit rate if production falls short

The guaranteed production assumes 1% annual degradation in module and system performance.

3. If Production Falls Short

At the end of each 3-year period:

Credit = (Guaranteed kWh − Actual kWh) × Energy Price per kWh
