Execution Model

The execution model defines:

• What states exist for an identity and its components.
• Which transitions are allowed.
• Which component is responsible for applying each transition.

1. Core Entities

• Identity
• Key Set (control, recovery, device)
• Attribute Set
• Vault Instance
• Commitment Record
• Proof Record (optional, for audit)

2. Identity States

Minimal set:

• pending – created but not fully activated (e.g. awaiting issuer or KYC).
• active – valid, usable in proofs.
• suspended – temporarily disabled (risk, review).
• compromised – keys suspected compromised.
• revoked – permanently invalid, cannot be recovered.
• archived – no longer used but retained for historical proofs (policy-dependent).
