Exchange recommendations refer to the rules that help you configure what products to recommend your shoppers when they are choosing whether they want to return or exchange their products. The products that are shown to the shoppers based on these rules will help nudge your shoppers towards exchanging rather than returning.
This is the first version of our Rabbit in the hat recommendation system. We'll keep adding more rules based on client's feedback.
In this release, you can choose to recommend specific products or you can define a rule with collections.
<aside> 💡 The exchange recommendation sets can be aligned with request reasons, so if you utilize different request reasons for different products, you can create product-specific recommendations.

Let's take a look at how these things are achieved.
To set up an exchange recommendation, navigate to :
Configure > Return Management >Exchanges > Exchange Recommendation
To create a new recommendation set, click on Add Recommendation Set
You will be taken to a new page, where you will configure different parts of your recommendation set.
