📖 Scripture Reflection
• Reflections on the scripture I read and meditated on today or this week:
[ Representative Verses ]
- (Psalm 141:4-5) "Do not let my heart be drawn to what is evil so that I take part in wicked deeds along with those who are evildoers; do not let me eat their delicacies. Let a righteous man strike me—that is a kindness; let him rebuke me—that is oil on my head. My head will not refuse it, for my prayer will still be against the deeds of evildoers."
- (2 Timothy 3:16)Â "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness."
[ My Reflection ]
- When I sin, the evil spirits within me feast on a banquet.
- By sinning, I am participating in their feast.
- The banquet I should partake in is the Holy Communion with Jesus, where His blood cleanses my sins.
- Lord, help me recognize and confront the sins within me. Lead me away from the path of sin.
- Those who rebuke my sins are the righteous ones. Please allow me to meet more of such righteous people, and let me receive their teachings and corrections with gratitude and joy.
✅ Happenings
• Events of the day and my reactions/actions:
- On the second day of the summit, I observed how the participants analyzed and approached the drama series The Chosen from various perspectives. It reminded me to explain things clearly using the six W's (who, what, when, where, why, how) as the pastor mentioned. Explaining in this way leaves the listener satisfied.
- I received feedback from the pastor after a long time. It was great to hear about the areas I need to improve. I prayed in the morning to receive teaching, rebuking, and correction, and God answered me by the evening. I am thankful for this.
