Thanks for helping us testing the Kain 2x server. This page describes how the Closed Beta will work and what you can do to help.

IMPORTANT UPDATE 19/07

Many of you have noticed a high number of issues encountered, even though most of them are not critical. They affect the gameplay and need to be solved before launching.

Most of the issues have a common reason, like:

• Quests and Items with the wrong description and information (Problem with the client).
• Mobs showing with incorrect status (Problem with the client).
• Game freeze on dropping herbs (Problem with the client).
• Interface buttons and options not working (Problem with the client).
• Summons with incorrect status (Server problem).

We've noticed that people are starting to report similar issues because they have the same root cause, leading to confusion.

That's why we've decided to stop the Closed Beta earlier than planned, so the staff can regroup and review all issues and prepare a plan of attack.

We know that there are still more things to be tested, such as the Epic Bosses, and we may run short Closed Betas in the upcoming weeks to focus on that and get your input on the things as we fix them up.

The Closed Beta will be finished on 19/07 10:00 AM UTC+0. The reward points will be calculated in the next few days.

The CBT will run from 16/07 7:00 PM to 25/07 9:00 PM UTC+0

Rewards will be given for different activities. The more you test, the more points you will get and those points will be exchanged for rewards once we go live.

Important information

• Accounts will be in auto create mode, enabled a few minutes before opening the server on the 16/07.
• Global chat is available to everybody by using +.
• Added teleports to TOI levels in the Aden GK.

How the CBT will work

The Beta will be split in three phases. Phase one, two and three.

Phase one from 16/07 7:00 PM to 17/07 9:00 PM UTC+0.

The goal is to test the early game progression until level 20, like when live. The server will be configured with original rates and no extra help will be provided.

Rewards:

• Reaching level 20: 100 points.
• Completing 1st job class quest: 100 points.
