Like many clichéd openings, I must begin by asking how you are.

Hello, it has been a while. How are you?

Are you still living in that apartment with a view of the coast and the forest? I never told you, but I envy the view from your apartment. It must be beautiful, even though I can only imagine it.

Did you end up buying all those games you mentioned that were about to be released?

Are you still only sleeping three or four hours a day like before?

God, I really hope your insomnia and emotional symptoms have improved over the past two years.

And are you still so addicted to swimming? When I first found out how much you loved swimming, I really wondered if you were a fish in a previous life, haha.

What have you been up to these past few years? Have you travelled to other places? Have you seen those majestic Buddha statues carved into the cliff walls that you mentioned before? Have you made friends with people from another continent?

What are you doing now? Have you developed any new hobbies? I really hope I’ll have the chance to hear you tell me all about it in person, even if it takes three days and three nights. I promise I’ll never get tired of listening to it.

I’ve gone on and on about all this nonsense, but I just wanted to tell you that I miss you so much, i really do, very ,very much.

On every bad weather day, every cloudy, snowy, or rainy day, I think of you. I wonder if it’s raining where you are. If it’s not raining, is it sunny?

Here, it’s already the rainy season, and it’ll rain for about a whole month. It’s terrible, isn’t it? Yes,I feel like I’m going to start mouldering and growing mushrooms on my body .

Even so, I sometimes hope that the rain falling on me will one day fall on you too.

I don’t know if you like rainy days, but I’ve never been a fan of rain. I hope the weather is always nice where you are, because I hope good weather can help lift your mood and make you happy, at least enough to go out for a walk.
