The Events Manager ensures that Overflow’s flagship events and guest interactions reflect the company’s culture of generosity, gratitude, and excellence. This role manages planning, production, logistics, vendor partnerships, budget reconciliation, and hospitality for gatherings such as Night of Generosity (NOG), Flow Fam Experience (Conference), Hack Weeks, and On Site Open Houses, while also stewarding guest relations and RSVPs.
This is more than event management — it is curating meaningful experiences where staff, partners, and guests feel seen, celebrated, and inspired. The Event Manager collaborates closely with the People Ops Manager and liaises with Marketing to ensure events not only run seamlessly, but also showcase Overflow’s story and values.
This is a remote-hybrid, full-time role with working hours between 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. M–F, local time. Due to the nature of supporting live events and unpredictable logistics, occasional work outside of standard hours (including evenings or weekends) will be required. In such cases, overtime is not automatically compensated unless pre-approved. When travel is required, all expenses will be reimbursed as T&E and incorporated into the event budget.
