I am Dimitar from Social Hackers Academy, a non-profit online coding school based in Athens, Greece. We strive to make a difference: all our classes are online and accessible worldwide to students from vulnerable communities, such as refugees, asylum seekers, migrants, and unemployed citizens.

Our cohort is focused on full-stack web development, soft skills training, and teaching our students how to get a job. In all these steps, we promote a cooperative environment and create a community between the students and our education team.

To improve their experience, we organize every month two mandatory events. One related to technical skills and another related to soft skills/HR Skills. They have a duration of 45 minutes talk + 15 minutes Q&A, starting at 7 pm Athens time zone, and the speaker chooses the topic associated with their area of expertise.
