One of those unexpectedly lovely moments happened recently: a few colleagues reached out after spotting a photo of me from a Connectd event in a recent Forbes article about their $7M raise.

It made me pause and reflect on everything that’s happened this year, and how big a part Connectd has played in that journey. I feel genuinely grateful.

Through them, I’ve met a great group of advisors and fractional leaders. It’s also how I was introduced to Eleusia Beauty, where I’ve had the chance to work closely with Elizabeth Paulina Farkas, who genuinely cares about partnerships, clarity, and building things the right way.

Living in NYC, it’s also been a great way to meet people who are navigating this chapter of work with curiosity, generosity, and ambition. This feels different in the best way. It creates space to mentor and share lessons from my own experiences, while also giving me the chance to contribute actively and move quickly in a startup environment. I’ve enjoyed continuing to learn by experimenting with new tools, new approaches and thoughtful ways to incorporate AI into the work.
