Using Seabridge as the Direct Representitve

A Direct Representative will make customs declarations on your behalf.

Authorisation forms must be completed ahead of the first shipment and returned to [email protected].

The consignor (sender) responsible for the export in the UK must complete the following form:

Seabridge Freight Services - Appointment of a Customs Clearance Agent to....pdf

The consignee (receiver) responsible for the import in the Republic of Ireland must complete the following forms:

Seabridge Ireland Limited - Appointment of a Customs Clearance Agent to act as a Direct Representative.pdf

Shippers (you the customer) must also send a **Commerical Invoice** and a DGN (Dangerous Goods Note) to [email protected] at the same time as entering the consignment to our eTransport booking system. Stiller will then upload this Commercial Invoice to the Hazchem Network's IT system. Please send all documents in a '.tiff' format where possible. Without the correct documents, the freight will not be collected or shipped.

If the origin of the goods you are sending is GB then please ensure the following declaration is on your Invoices, if this is missing then the goods cannot be shipped and the invoice will have to be re-issued resulting in delays in shipping.

“The exporter of the products covered by this document (Export ref number ………….) declares that except where otherwise clearly indicated these products are of UK preferential origin “

Making your own Customs Declarations (no Direct Respresetitive)

Shippers (you the customer) must send Stiller a MRM number (generated when making the customs declaration yourself) to [email protected] at the same time as entering the consignment to our eTransport booking system. Please also put the MRM number in the 'delivery notes' field of the consignment. We ask for the information twice so that we aware aware not to expect a Customs Invoice.
