Features
- postural tremor: worse if arms outstretched
- improved by alcohol and rest
- most common cause of titubation (head tremor)
Management
- propranolol is first-line
- primidone (barbiturate anticonvulsant) - useful alternative or adjunct if propranolol contraindicated or inadequate
