I woke up disoriented inside Lorville again.

Every corridor looked the same. Every train stop taunted me with signs that said Metro Center but took me nowhere I needed to be. Finrod was calm, as always, offering course corrections and warnings, but Lorville still managed to wrap me in circles like a metal labyrinth built by madmen.

Eventually—after wandering, retracing, rehydrating, and desperately searching for a food vendor—I made it. Noodles in hand, hydration secured, I stumbled upon Tammany and Sons... and Cruz Lux. Oh yes. The blessed green bottle. One for now, five for the road.

It was there Tragic_Descent joined me. My partner in life, now my partner in the stars—armored up and eager. We armed ourselves, prepped our loadouts, and accepted a mission from Foxwell Enforcement to secure a bunker from gang activity. HDSF-Colfax. Simple in name. Chaos in practice.

Getting our ship out of Lorville was a battle of its own. ASOP terminals mocked me with their red errors. At one point, someone crashed their ship inside the spaceport. It hung midair like a joke, and I was seconds from losing my mind—but Finrod, ever persistent, got us airborne.

We made our way to Colfax. Dropped in under the cover of night. The mission was tight—multiple hostiles, low visibility, cramped interiors. I took several hits and had to heal mid-fight, but I wasn’t going down. With Tragic at my side and my medpens hotkeyed, we cleared the facility. The last few enemies never saw us coming.

No time to rest. I took on a bounty license certification. Our first target: Wyatt Claggett. He didn’t last long—mostly because the man rammed into me at full speed like a lunatic. Still counts.

The second bounty was Nelson Johnstone. Clean, smooth, surgical. We tracked him to HDSF-Breckinridge, approached through the sunrise, and opened fire before he could react. The job was done in minutes. The permit was ours. We’re official now.

And with that, I’m leaving Lorville behind—for now. I’ve learned its maze, but I won’t drag Tragic through it on day one. Instead, we’re setting a course for Pyro Gateway. Smaller space. Fewer distractions. The perfect place to breathe, teach, and plan our next step in the Verse.

Finrod is with me. Tragic is ready.

And I? I am Bahaliel. And this is just the beginning.
