At Orient Path, we partner with high-growth technology companies globally.
One of our clients — builds virtualization, storage, and cloud infrastructure platforms used by service providers and enterprises globally.
We are looking for a deeply technical Quality Engineering leader who can raise the engineering quality bar across the organization — not simply manage QA execution.
This role is for someone who combines strong systems-level engineering understanding with the ability to drive quality culture, reliability standards, release governance, and engineering accountability across complex infrastructure products.
You should be comfortable operating in environments involving Linux internals, virtualization, distributed systems, performance bottlenecks, infrastructure automation, and production-scale failure scenarios.
What You’ll Own
- Drive company-wide quality strategy across infrastructure, virtualization, and platform products
- Define and enforce engineering quality gates, release readiness standards, reliability metrics, and test governance
- Push quality earlier into development through close partnership with kernel, platform, SRE, and infrastructure engineering teams
- Build scalable automated validation frameworks for low-level and distributed systems
- Design production-like testing environments covering: failure recovery, concurrency, resource starvation, scalability, performance degradation, fault injection
- Introduce measurable quality KPIs, observability, and data-driven engineering practices
- Influence architecture and release decisions through technical credibility and engineering leadership
- lead Performance & Analysis team, driving competitive benchmarking and adoption of best industry practices
- Help shape a modern engineering culture where quality is treated as an engineering responsibility, not a downstream function
- Drive adoption of AI-assisted engineering and quality workflows where appropriate
