Remote (Europe/EU)
We are building advanced virtualization, cloud, and software-defined storage platforms used worldwide. We’re looking for a manager who treats quality as an engineering practice — creating systems, automation, and processes that enable developers to validate their own code at the kernel and infrastructure layers.
What you will build
A developer-focused quality ecosystem covering kernel, drivers, virtualization, and storage — guided by five core principles:
Efficiency, Reliability, Performance, Security, Versatility.
You will also lead our Performance & Analysis team, driving competitive benchmarking and adoption of best industry practices.
What you will do
- Define and drive quality strategy for kernel, drivers, and infrastructure
- Build automated environments that simulate real workloads, failures, and stress conditions
- Design tools and CI workflows that push quality left and empower developers
- Lead deep investigations into concurrency, memory, boundary, and kernel-level issues
- Establish measurable quality standards (coverage, reliability, observability, SLA readiness)
- Mentor QA engineers, SDETs, and guide the Performance & Analysis function
- Influence architecture and development through strong technical authority
What you bring
- Hands-on experience with kernel/OS/driver-level testing and debugging
- Strong Linux internals knowledge: memory, concurrency, syscalls, hardware interaction
- Solid background in automation at scale: CI/CD, chaos/fault injection, stress testing
- Experience with performance & scalability testing
- Ability to influence across engineering teams
