This onboarding plan will help you ramp up across leadership, delivery, and cross-functional work — step-by-step over your first month.

🛠️ Preboarding (Before Day 1)

• [ ] Scheduled welcome call with CTO/Head of Tech
• [ ] Added to calendar invites for engineering rituals (retros, planning, etc.)

📅 Week 1 – People, Process & Product

🎯 Goal: Get to know your people, how teams work, and what’s being built.

• [ ] 1:1s with every engineer on your team
• [ ] Meet with Product + Design leads
• [ ] Join all rituals: standup, planning, retro
• [ ] Review current org structure and reporting lines
• [ ] Read performance framework / leveling guide
• [ ] Audit delivery metrics: velocity, throughput, blockers
• [ ] Review current sprint board & team goals
• [ ] Understand top business priorities and current roadmap
