About Encounters

Patient Encounter pages are meant to be used to store all the data around the visit while the patient is present.

Recording Diagnosis

1. Start by clicking the edit icon on the diagnosis module

   

2. You will then find 3 options for adding diagnosis;

• + Patient History - Looks up diagnosis codes applied to previous encounters in metaclinic. this does not look up history prior to the accident.

  

• + Commonly Used ICD10 codes- This looks up the most commonly used codes used by the location of service.

  

• + Add New - This function allows you to search codes by names like concussion.

3. Remember to save changes each time you edit the diagnosis.

<aside> 💡 Encounters that are created from request that an offering is selected allows users to add diagnosis codes directly from the guidelines.
