Overview

RUNIC is a very interesting mod that replaces enchanting with runes that are applied to tools.

Each tool has a certain number of rune slots (depending on the tier).

Etchings are craftable versions of runes, giving level I of an enchant (instead of II).

There are lots of other features, which remind me a lot of a more grounded version of apotheosis.

Pros

Full control
No “max tools”
Insanely customizable

Cons

Runes are not created dynamically, meaning compatibility is limited right now.
Complicated
