I am currently a physics student at UCSB, an excellent research institution renowned for its contributions to soft and living matter, theoretical physics, condensed matter, quantum physics, and computational physics. As a RISE fellow, I have been given the extraordinary funding opportunity to study here. I am actively looking for research opportunities and participating in physics clubs, in addition to my coursework, ensuring I make the most of this exceptional opportunity.

Thanks to the UWC Spain foundation and the La Caixa scholarship, I had the opportunity to study the International Baccalaureate in India. This was an extremely challenging yet enriching experience that marked a turning point in both my life and academic journey. The life experiences, social work, and personal reflections I gained from my time in India will always be an essential part of how I view the world and want to change it.
While at MUWCI, I had the opportunity to learn from professionals such as Alejandro Báez Rubio, who helped me discover research and science in its purest form. This experience, along with my work coordinating the astronomy club and teaching physics lessons in nearby villages, solidified my decision to pursue physics as a career.

I spent my early years at a local Catholic school, where my passion for science first took root. It was a place where my curiosity was ignited, and though I faced frustrations with the Spanish curriculum, I was fortunate to have attentive and supportive teachers. Many of them changed my life, much like the classmates who became lifelong friends.
