1. Problem statement

• The shift towards remote work and the increased popularity of gaming has created a demand for personal computers (PCs) or laptops. However, laptops can be expensive, and building a personal computer requires knowledge of computer peripherals.
• Finding all the necessary components from various online/offline platforms can be challenging and time-consuming.
• There is a lack of a comprehensive platform that not only provides a one-stop shop for purchasing computer peripherals but also offers a community where users can share knowledge, and their ideas, get inspiration, and interact with like-minded individuals.

2. Understanding the Problem statement

To understand the problem statement and narrow down the target audience I did some secondary research to identify statistical data on the user preferences.

Why Personalized Computer Setup over a Laptop?

Before starting about the topic, one might be curious about why PCs are used instead of laptops. Laptops these days are powerful enough to perform most tasks that a PC can do. In this case study, building a custom PC is given more importance for the following reasons, also I’ve done my fair share of researching some articles and taking a survey to identify what device is being preferred by individuals.
