Session objective: Edit SA Element Registry element 34 (sa-bsg-cta-hero) per Sam: remove the date/BSG caption overlay on the headshot image and remove the Get Started button. Render for approval, then deploy sitewide (pages + posts, just above footer, below FAQs) pending Sam's go.

What was done

• Backed up full registry (83 elements) to session outputs: all_elements_backup_2026-06-10.json (rollback source).
• POST /admin/edit/34: removed .sa-bsg-cta__caption span and .sa-bsg-cta__btn anchor from HTML; removed caption + button CSS blocks. Version bumped to 2026-06-10. Rules and description updated to reflect no button / no overlay.
• Verified via /api/elements: no caption or btn strings remain; version 2026-06-10.
• QA'd /preview/34 desktop (1280) and mobile (~390): clean image with orange frame, headline, bullets, tagline intact. No layout breakage.
• Note: registry count is now 86; ids 94-96 (sa-pagebreak-*) were added today by another agent, not this session. The shared Playwright browser was also in use by that agent (tab on /preview/95); used a separate tab and closed it after QA.

Status: deployment deferred pending Sam's explicit approval of the rendering (go-live gate). Registry edit itself is complete.

Recommended next actions

1. On Sam's approval: deploy element 34 sitewide on pages and posts, inserted just above the footer and below FAQ sections, via wp-content-deployer pipeline (draft-first, never direct post_content writes on published pages).
2. Inventory which pages/posts already carry .sa-bsg-cta or the legacy .bsg-cta block to avoid double-rendering (BSG page already has it live).
3. Consider noting the shared Playwright browser contention pattern (open own tab, close after) in the sa-element-registry skill.

Handoff for new agent: Element 34 in the registry is the source of truth for the markup; pull HTML/CSS from /api/elements at deploy time rather than this page. Rollback for the registry edit is the backup JSON named above (re-POST old fields to /admin/edit/34). The BSG page (live_reference) still shows the old version with the button; Sam has not yet said whether the live BSG page should be updated to match. Treat that as an open question, not an instruction.
