Eight Gates is a fitness and personal development application built for iOS. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
When you create an account via Apple Sign In we receive your name (if shared) and an email address. We store a username, profile photo (optional), and timezone you provide during onboarding.
We store your XP, achievement history, class participation, raid participation, task completions, and workout logs within our secure database.
If you grant permission, we read step count and active calories from HealthKit to automatically complete certain daily tasks. HealthKit data is never sold, shared with advertisers, or used for any purpose other than displaying it to you inside the app.
If you connect Apple Music, we generate a MusicKit developer token to make playlist creation requests on your behalf. We do not store your Apple Music library or listening history.
If you connect Spotify, we use OAuth to create playlists on your Spotify account. We store only your Spotify display name and connection status. We do not store your listening history.
In-app purchases (Onigiri consumable and Premium subscription) are processed entirely by Apple. We receive only a transaction token to verify your subscription status — we do not see your payment details.
Messages you submit through the in-app feedback form are stored in our database and reviewed by our team.
Expo/React Native may collect anonymised crash reports. We do not use third-party analytics SDKs.
