What is an Estimate?

An estimate is a tool that helps salespeople calculate the cost of a project. This number can be used to give the customer a proposal.

How to get to the Edit Estimate page

1) By creating a new estimate

When you click on the [Create] button under Create Estimate, the system will automatically take you to the Edit Estimate page. To learn more about creating an estimate, click here Create an Estimate.

2) From the Project Details page

Under the Project Details, on the Estimate section, there is a list of all existing estimates related to the project. Click on [Edit] to edit each estimate.

Editing an Estimate

Step 1: Add Area and Materials

Click on the large [Add Line Item] button and a window will pop up. Here you will add all of the information related to a given area. To see examples click here Residential Example or here Commercial Example.
