Troubleshooting Workflow
- Identify the symptom (e.g., BGP down, no internet, ping fails)
- Check physical and interface status (Layer 1)
- Verify Layer 2 and Layer 3 configs (encapsulation, IPs, routing)
- Check BGP session and routes
- Use pings/traceroutes to isolate the problem
- Check logs and debug if needed
- Fix and verify (clear BGP session, correct configs, etc.)
