1. Information We Collect

1.1 Location Data

Edeb requests access to your device's precise and approximate location.

• Purpose: To calculate accurate daily prayer times for your geographic location.
• Storage: Location data is processed locally on your device and is not transmitted to or stored on our servers.
• Control: You can revoke location permission at any time via your device settings. Without location access, prayer times will not be available.

1.2 Notification Permissions

Edeb may send push notifications to remind you of prayer times and special Islamic days.

• Purpose: To deliver timely prayer time reminders and daily content.
• Control: You can enable or disable notifications at any time in your device settings or within the app.

1.3 Data Stored via Firebase

We use Google Firebase Firestore to store certain app content and configuration data (such as dua collections and special day messages). This data is not personally identifiable and is used solely to deliver app features.

1.4 Subscription Data

Premium subscriptions are processed by RevenueCat, a third-party subscription management platform. We receive anonymized purchase status information to unlock premium features. We do not collect or store your payment information.

1.5 AI Chat Usage

When you use the AI chat feature, your messages are sent to our cloud functions for processing. We do not store chat history on our servers after the response is generated. Please do not share sensitive personal information in the chat.
