So, you’ve found yourself down the never-ending rabbit-hole of fretting for EPQ? Not to fear! Having been in the same position last year of loathing myself for not completing deadlines on time and not really knowing what the examiners are looking for, I’ve decided to compile my notes as well as my own project to give a bit more of a clear idea as to what the EPQ entails and what you’re getting yourself into (and, oh boy, it’s a lot...)

The Project Log is a working document- getting early isn’t going to do you much favours! Working according to your deadlines, using the guides to help understand what detail you need to go into for each section, as well as the main ‘questions’ that need to be answered. I have provided a rough timeline according to whether your school does a ‘four-term’ timeline - look at this PDF to find out more!
The hardest part about the EPQ isn’t the vast amount of writing/ reading you have to do- it’s how you carry out and manage these tasks (people were right, saying the EPQ is a test of endurance).
