Refuge is a personal musical project of Indian pianist/composer **Aman Mahajan,** paying homage to inner journeys, and exploring an ever-evolving sense of home.
Founded in 2013, the project is a personal creative lab and musical umbilical cord that connects Aman with expressions from his musical home. The music moves fluidly between composition and improvisation, drawing from influences including jazz, Buddhist thought, Indian folk and classical, personal experience, and many different musical traditions from around the world.
Performed either solo piano or in collaboration, the music invites listeners into a world of inner reflection through pieces like The Ten Thousand Questions, Beginningless, Leifmotif, Connections and Sitaphalmandi.
