Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Scientist / Project Leader to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in synthetic biology, strain engineering, and process engineering. This role involves implementing synthetic pathways, building and leading a team to support these activities, and contributing to the development of new partnerships. The candidate should possess excellent chemistry knowledge and a sound business acumen.

Responsibilities

Synthetic Pathway Implementation, Strain Engineering and Optimization and Validation
Bioprocess engineering on small scale
Team building, leadership and management of engineers and technicians
Partnership / business development: present and participate in meetings with external industrial and academic partners
Project Management (develop project plans, resource allocation and progress monitoring)

Qualifications

Required:

🏫 PhD or Masters in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering or similar

🗣️ English fluency
