Position Summary

We are seeking an ambitious Scientist to join our international and talented team. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in synthetic biology, strain engineering, and process engineering. This role involves working with our Senior Scientist on implementing synthetic pathways in bacteria for bioproduction. Key Responsibilities /Missions

  1. Execute molecular biology techniques, including PCR, cloning techniques, and sequencing.
  2. Engineer and optimize microbial strains (mostly E. coli) by genomic modifcations, library construction, and adaptive laboratory evolution.
  3. Develop and implement high-throughput screening and analytical methods (e.g., HPLC, plate reader assays, growth coupled-selection) to characterize the performance of engineered production strains.
  4. Analyze datasets generated from experiments through statistical methods and guide design iterations.
  5. Maintain detailed electronic lab notebooks (ELNs), write technical reports, and present findings to cross-functional teams.
