Overview

Dictation is a useful feature that will allow you to use your voice to type into chart note. For v1, we have implemented a simple version that will simply output your words as you speak them with smart-punctuation.

Dictation is only enabled for text boxes in the chart note page, excluding number, date, and other special inputs.

Usage

To start, follow the steps below:

1. Go to a patient appointment page

   

   • Patient appointments can be accessed either from the EHR Calendar page, EHR Patient page (EHR Inbox Page will be added soon)

2. Click the blue button in the bottom-right corner of the screen to show the AI Widget,

   

3. Click “Dictate” to enable dictation mode

   1. “non-final” text will be highlighted. Once the highlight clears and the cursor moves, your text has been finalized.

1. When dictation is enabled, the button will show “Stop”, which you can press again to end dictation mode. You can also see exactly where your dictated text will output to via the mic indicator above your cursor.
