Duties
The success of the AW Community will depend on all of its members. Everyone must understand their responsibilities and expectations.
Mandatory
- To participate in the AW community, all members must invest in AW. ”Put your money where your mouth is” therefore, to have maximum accountability, all members have bought an Angels Way ticket that allows them to decide where the community money (investment) allocation is.
- All AW Community member's detailed profiles are private. Only members can have access to each other's profile details. AW allows, by default, Angels' names and a link to their LinkedIn profile to be publicly available. This mechanism will help founders connect to Angels and get the endorsement to introduce their project to the community. All participating members will be published on our website to accomplish our goals, including their pictures, social profiles, and experience.
- All Angels must abide by the AW rules defined on these pages.
- All Angels must strive to accomplish the Community Values and Goals of AW.
Penalties
- All Angels that do not comply with the present mandatory duties can have their voting rights and participation in the AW community blocked.
- Blocking a member will have a severe outcome and must be avoided. However, if necessary, a member can do the following procedure:
- Blocking an Angel, Angel Representative, or Angel Father: Any member can propose this action, and it's the Promoter's responsibility to initiate a Binding Vote to block a member.
- Removing a Promoter: During the annual general meeting of AW, any member can propose this action.
Advised
- Actively and periodically engage in the discussions and voting of the AW's decisions. "There is no community without participation" We suggest each member reserves a slot of at least 30min per week (book it in your calendar!) to disconnect from daily activities and get up-to-date and active in the discussions on AW's platform.
- Be active in the voting process" We are wise because we are many" Having great people participate in the voting process increases our likelihood of making the right decisions. The more people join in the discussion, the more issues, challenges, and opportunities we can identify.
- Take the time to understand the projects.
Rights
- All Angels can access AW community rules, guidelines, and economics.
- All Angels can participate in the voting process, regardless of having a conflict of interest in the subject at the discussion. However, they can vote or choose abstention.
- All Angels have the right to participate in public meetings, i.e., meetings that are not exclusive to the support team with their corresponding startup.
- All Angels have the right to endorse projects eligible for the startup founder submission.
