Setting Up Your Account

1. Download the App: On your phone, go to the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play Store (Android). Search for "Duolingo" and tap "Download."
2. Open the App: Once installed, open the Duolingo app. You'll see a welcome screen.
3. Create an Account:
   1. Tap “Get Started.”
   2. Choose the language you want to learn.
   3. Pick your daily goal (how much time you want to spend learning each day).
   4. Enter your email address and create a password, or sign up using your Google/Facebook account.

Navigating Duolingo

1. Home Screen:
   1. This is where you’ll see your lessons for the day.
   2. Tap a lesson to start learning.
2. Profile:
   1. Access your profile by tapping your avatar (little picture at the top).
   2. You can check your progress and update your settings here.
3. Leaderboard:
   1. Compete with other learners! You'll find this under the "Leaderboard" section.
4. Tips and Notes:
   1. Some lessons come with helpful explanations. Look for the “Tips” button before starting a lesson.
5. Practice:
   1. There’s a "Practice" button to review things you’ve already learned.

That’s it—you’re ready to start learning!
