- Dune Spellbook is a community-driven library of standardized SQL models (“spells”) that convert raw blockchain data into structured, analysis-ready tables.
- As part of Optimism’s NumbaNERD Season 4 program, this initiative focused on expanding on-chain data accessibility through open-source Dune Spellbook models. These SQL-based models standardized analytics across multiple DeFi, NFT, and perpetual protocols within the Optimism ecosystem.
- Contributions included developing and deploying over 15 protocol spellbooks, mapping key deployer addresses across Optimism and Base, and enabling public dashboards for leading protocols such as OpenXSwap, Woofi, Hashflow, Mummy Finance, Alienswap, Unidex, Vela, and Odos (V1/V2), enhancing transparency and data reliability across the ecosystem.
- As part of Optimism’s NumbaNERD Season 4 Program, this initiative focused on strengthening data accessibility and transparency across the Optimism and Base ecosystems through open-source Dune Spellbook contributions.
- During this season, I contributed to the development and deployment of 17 spellbooks, covering multiple sectors such as DEXs, Perpetual Protocols, NFTs, and Governance. These contributions included:
- Creating and refining SQL models (spells) for major protocols including OpenXSwap, Woofi, Hashflow, Mummy Finance, Alienswap, Unidex, Vela, Odos (V1 & V2), and more.
- Adding and mapping deployer addresses across the Optimism and Base networks for enhanced data traceability.
- Ensuring cross-protocol standardization, improving data quality for public dashboards and community analysis.
This work contributed to broader ecosystem visibility, reproducible analytics, and governance insights - reinforcing the value of community-driven data engineering in Web3 analytics.
