Asim bhai’s comments
- do not lie to clients by saying things like i will increase engagement by 30% if you do not have portfolio/social proof to back it up with, what if you could not deliver. see your position and give realistic outcome.
- use creative words and short sentences like in ham ye keh sakt ehain k chat karte hain aur lets se eif we vibe etc.
- attach portfolio.
- find clients name from the reviews and start your proposal with the client’s name.
- in some job types, we mention our workflow to the client like how i will approach solving the problem.
- keep your shoes in client’s shoes and see why is he/she facing this problem, understand his mindset and think of ways to solve his/her problem and make his/her life easy. approach it with this mindset.
- divide total spent by no. of hires to get average order value. recommended is $200-$250/order.
- sometimes we see one red flag but we should not reject the client based on one red flag, we see other factor s also. with pracice we will build intuition to select the best clients.
- for a short video editin gproject, mention the turnaround time to be withinn 24 hours.
- write the proposal by paying attention to details, write every word, sentence carefully. also do dummy bids as if you are doin glive bids.
- see the clients business. niche to check if the client wil pay well ir not.
- client ki language mein proposal likhen,
- if client is making money through the work we have done then he/she will pay us good as well.
- avoid creating FOMO in your cover letter and also recognize FOMO patterns in the job description of the client. i personalyy did not understand this concept.
- we do not write generic things like “engaging videos” etc.
- figure out ypur pricing, ask seniors etc. what will you charge for a particular project etc. like asim bhai mention $100-$120 per minute video with b-rolls and text-overlays. but still discuss pricing strategy with seniors. asim bhai was like k apne paise bta dein phir client par chor dein.
- haroon bhai said tel lclient i work for work not that i work for money. give him a price and see his mentality if he wants to pay more or less. also then tell him clients pay me this much money for this kind of work.
- agar client ka business acha hai aur valuable hai then we go after that client.
- from detailed job description if the client has put in effort, then sign of good client.
